Happierness

Terms of Service

Effective date: June 22, 2026

Welcome to Happierness. These Terms explain the basic rules for using the app.

1. What Happierness is

Happierness is a personal reflection and check-in app. It helps you record parts of your day and notice possible patterns over time.

Happierness is currently in public beta. That means the app may change, improve, pause, or sometimes behave imperfectly while it is being tested and developed.

2. Age requirement

You must be 18 years or older to use Happierness.

3. Not medical advice or therapy

Happierness is not medical advice, therapy, diagnosis, crisis support, or a replacement for professional help.

The app may help you reflect on your days, but it cannot assess, diagnose, treat, or manage any health or mental health condition.

If you need urgent help, you should contact local emergency services or a qualified professional support service in your area.

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure.

You are also responsible for the information you choose to add to Happierness, including check-ins, notes, reflections, Life Context, feedback, and other personal details.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the personal content you add to Happierness.

By using the app, you allow Happierness to process that content only as needed to provide the service, generate insights, save your settings, maintain your account, and improve the app in line with the Privacy Policy.

Do not add content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or infringes someone else's rights.

6. AI and insights

Happierness may use AI to generate deeper insights from your check-ins and related information.

Deeper Insights can use written notes, per-field notes, Life Context, and feedback only when you have given consent for that feature.

Insights are experimental and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or not relevant to your situation. Treat them as reflection prompts, not facts, instructions, medical advice, or professional guidance.

Happierness does not guarantee that using the app will improve your wellbeing, mood, health, routines, relationships, or any other outcome.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • try to access another person's account or data
  • misuse, attack, disrupt, reverse engineer, or interfere with the app
  • use Happierness for emergencies or crisis support
  • upload harmful, illegal, abusive, or infringing content
  • use the app in a way that could harm the service or other users

8. Account deletion

You can delete your account from within the app.

When you delete your account, Happierness removes user-linked data according to its deletion process. Some limited records may be retained where needed for security, email suppression, legal, or operational reasons, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

9. Availability and changes

Happierness is provided as-is, especially during public beta.

The app may change, pause, or stop parts of the service at any time. Features may be added, removed, limited, or adjusted as the product develops.

10. No warranties

Happierness is provided without guarantees that it will always be available, error-free, accurate, secure, or suitable for your specific needs.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Happierness is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses connected to your use of the app.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

12. Privacy

Your use of Happierness is also covered by the Privacy Policy.
