Delete Happierness data without deleting your account
You can delete parts of your Happierness data without deleting your account.
Delete data in the app
The fastest way to delete selected data is inside Happierness:
- Log in to your account
- Open Settings
- Go to Account and data
- Choose Delete data
From there, you can delete saved check-ins and history while keeping your account open.
Delete sensitive data
You can also remove sensitive details without deleting your full account.
This may include sensitive check-in details such as pain, cycle, intimacy, and emotional residue fields, where those details have been saved.
If you cannot access the app
If you cannot log in or no longer have access to the app, email us from the email address connected to your Happierness account:
Subject line: Data deletion request
Please include:
- the email address connected to your Happierness account
- what data you want deleted, for example check-in history or sensitive check-in details
- whether you want to keep your account open
We may need to verify that the request comes from the account owner before deleting data.
What data can be deleted
You can request deletion of selected user-linked data, including check-ins, reflections, notes, saved insight feedback, saved things to try, and sensitive check-in details.
Some limited operational records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or reliable email delivery.
How long it takes
In-app deletion starts immediately after confirmation. Email deletion requests are normally handled within 30 days.
